Summary[]

"Music Is The Best" is played. During Mel's drum solo, his drums suddenly disappear. Jack and Mary notice, wondering why. Jack's guitar then disappears, then Mary's accordion. They wonder what is happening, then overhear Sheldon answering "No music! That's what's going on!". They rush to the window, where Sheldon the Grumpy Squirrel explains that he is the one behind the disappearing instruments. He uses his "Music-Be-Goner". When Jack and Mary ask why, Sheldon makes the rest of the instruments disappear. "You can't do this, Sheldon the Grumpy Squirrel!", Jack says. Jack and Mary tell Sheldon to bring the instruments back, and he declines. "Grumpy" is played. Back at the clubhouse, Jack and Mary are still calling Sheldon. It doesn't work, and Jack and Mary look at the empty clubhouse. Mel then has an idea. Mel has made a "Music-Come-Backer" He tries his new invention a few times, but different things come back instead of instruments. Mel then plays with a slinky, and they all start making music with objects. "It's Fun To Invent Your Own Instrument" is played. Sheldon makes the homemade instruments disappear. "No music today!", Sheldon says. Jack, Mary, and Mel chase Sheldon. "I'm Gonna Catch You" is played. Back at the clubhouse, the three are still chasing Sheldon. They end up back at the window. Jack, Mary, and Mel are mad. Sheldon leaves, and Mary has the idea of making music with the voice. They sing "Row-Row-Row Your Boat". Sheldon is now sad. Sheldon explains that he was trying to stop the music in the clubhouse so that he could sleep. Jack, Mary, and Mel say that if their instruments come back, they could play their instruments quietly and sing him a lullaby. Sheldon brings the instruments back with his Music-Come-Backer, and Jack, Mary, and Mel play a lullaby. Mary tells Jack to stop, stating that they cannot do that because Jack's guitar will wake Sheldon up. Mel uses his Music-Come-Backer to make earmuffs appear on Sheldon's ears. Because Sheldon cannot hear them, they play their instrumental version of "Music Is The Best" loudly. Jack, Mary, and Mel sing the goodbye song, as they continue to play music in the clubhouse.

Goofs[]

  • When something appears or disappears, the characters are in different positions. This was most likely due to a jump cut.
  • When the button on the Music Be-Goner is pressed, it usually makes one instrument disappear per press, but when Sheldon noticed Jack, Mary, and Mel's homemade instruments, all three instruments disappeared at the same time with one press.
  • When Mel tries his new invention a few times, a hand can be seen controlling Mary's arm on the broom she holds while saying no.
  • Sheldon didn't make Mel's Marvelous Music Machine disappear.
  • It is unknown why Jack, Mary, and Mel didn't do something unrelated to music when all their instruments disappeared.
  • It is also unknown why Sheldon didn't just sleep somewhere else if he was bothered by the noise.
